From my perspective, this home inspection job was handled perfectly from start to finish. I received an immediate phone call from Jim Ross with Illinois Property Inspections just as soon as I submitted my online information to HomeAdvisor. His communication and listening skills were top-notch, so I hired him immediately over the phone and scheduled a time for him to do the work. Jim showed up on time and completed the inspection over 2.5-3.0 hours. He kept me posted on anything he was finding as he was doing the work. Jim subsequently provided an excellent, thorough, high-quality report containing many pictures and a room-by-room assessment of his findings. The report was delivered via email. I would use Jim’s services again anytime, and I would recommend him to anyone with great confidence.

Jim was professional and friendly. He originally came out to do the inspection, got midway through it and I decided I didn’t want to purchase the property so we ended the inspection. Jim was very thoughtful in not charging me the full price of the inspection. A few days later, I decided to go forward with purchasing the property and contacted Jim. He gave me an appointment for just a few days away and only charged the balance of what it would’ve been had he completed the inspection the first time out. I will definitely use him again.
