Mold Inspection & Testing

A mold inspection involves a visual examination of the property and the use of specialized tools like moisture meters and thermal imaging to determine if there are potential mold issues and its source, which is usually water and moisture related. Testing if needed involves collecting air samples and surface samples if needed to analyze mold types and levels. We then send these to a lab for comparison against the outdoor “control” sample taken to determine if indoor levels are normal or problematic. A certified professional mold inspector will use the inspection and testing results to help identify and verify the problem.
